FEED helps a rather small number of families, and has no intention of aiding a larger number of families at a time. This is because the organization prefers to help in depth, becoming friend and family to those individuals, helping them in a profound way, instead of providing shallow and short-term help, in order to help them attain at least an elementary level of dignity. To quote mother Theresa, let us say: "Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than a person who has nothing to eat."
