The Medical Committee provides disabled and ill FEED Families necessary humanitarian contact and love, and amplifies that with monthly medications, free medical consultation, medical history follow-up and encouragement to undertake yearly screening and check-ups.

Housing

Without shelter, families and individuals can be cast adrift, and lives ruined. FEED recognizes that a solid roof and walls are integral to family integrity. The Housing Committee focuses on visiting the homes of all the FEED Families to ensure their properties are safe and clean. For those most deprived, The Housing Committee collaborates with the Fundraising Committee in collecting donations to renovate or rebuild those homes for families most in need.

FEED has expanded that fundamental mission and vision through our belief that deprived families not only have the right to basic survival, but also to enjoy their lives. FEED believes that education is the key to ensuring the success, suitability and fulfilment for the future of the new generation. When a child is offered the world of imagination, that world opens up in wonderful ways. FEED strives to provide a solid education to disadvantaged children in order to make a difference in the world, in their lives and in the progress of society. This initiative is steered by the Education Committee, which is tasked with identifying children who are deprived of an education.

Employment

In order to support our goals within the organization, the employment committee seeks to provide the unemployed within our care with jobs; allowing them to provide for their families and thus leading to self-suitability. The Employment Committee at FEED facilitates this process. Based on a recently introduced recruitment cycle, members of the Employment Committee meet with the “applicants”, gather the necessary information, support them in creating a CV and assist them in searching for potential employers.
